In support of circular fashion & circular economy, we upcycled our Cassidy 2-way convertible shirt in reclaimed fine stretch poplin with natural indigo dye from the Itneg indigenous community in Abra, Philippines, in collaboration with Los Angeles based artist Angie Correa of These Hands Are Made of Gold. Hand-dyed, no two are alike! The salmon color comes from the sapang plant leaves located where the indigenous Itneg tribe is from, along with natural indigo also in the area.
The shirt is two shirts in one - just button up for long sleeve and unbutton the pieces to make short sleeves. The banded bottom adds a design twist, while the shirred band at the back ensures a comfortable fit. Wear it as a shirt or overlay as a jacket. And did we mention it's Unisex? Women's S = Men's XS, Women's M = Men's S, Women's L = Men's M, Women's XL = Men's L, Women's XXL = Men's XL. Sweet.
