What are “fukubukuro” bags? Fukubukuro (福袋) translates literally to “lucky bag”, and it represents a Japanese New Year custom in which almost all shops around the country (especially Tokyo) make beautiful grab-bags with a variety of random products and sell them for a *substantial* discount!

The concept of Fukubukuro was invented by Ginza Matsuya Department Store in the late Meiji era (circa 1868 to 1912), and has since become a custom for most retailers.

The custom has spread internationally, and at KINdom, we celebrate all cultures (we are KIN!) by educating and immersing others into experiencing them. The world is a beautiful place!

Grab your own surprise fukubukuro bag of 4 eco-conscious fashion and/or accessory items for the amazingly low promotional price of only $20.23, from January 1 to January 15, 2023, or while supplies last. Just pick your size, and we’ll do the rest. :)
