The Dahel tribal beaded necklace was hand made by the T'Boli indigenous artisans of the Philippines. Historically, the beads used hundreds of years ago were made of seeds (ergo, "seed beads"). With the colored glass beads available in the market today, the artisans can get a little more creative and play with colors, and here, they are combined with wood. A little something special on this particular necklace are the traditional mini round tribal bell charms located on the bottom. The indigenous artisans create them using age-old techniques, now using recycled metals, some even from brass doorknobs!
